Original Character - Kinse (Okami)

This is a simple, small, quick and easy personal project I felt inspired to do in between bigger projects and my busy job.
I used this opportunity to play around with a simple animation of the blue reflector.

The character is named Kinse and is one of my very most important characters in my head-universe. This is a version of him I used to draw between 2007 and 2009 when I had a fan-story in mind of an Okami sequel. I randomly felt inspired to make a small figure of him :)

The little I remember of this story was that while Shiranui was surrendering their last breath a tiny spark of their soul found a host in Kinse, a young wolf with a pure and kind heart who was exploring the area. Kinse then inherited the 'brushy' shoulders, wrists, ankles and tail of Shiranui and a reflector called Blue Soul. He has no Celestial Brush power, no special abilities other then using Blue Soul to protect innocent victims. While helping freeing the lands of the last remnants of Evil after the defeat of Yami, he meets Issun and together they set up on a journey to find their way to the Celestial Plain and help Amaterasu. They get Oki roped in somwehere along the way and the idea was for a game that would also switch characters between Kinse, Oki and Issun, and later on Amaterasu (and at one specific point even Shiranui themselves).
Okamiden was then announced and I was developping my stories for my own universe so I saw no point to this fan-story anymore. I briefly toyed with the idea of bringing it back to life in 2015 and incorporate Okamiden into it, but I just couldn't find the motivation.
